Xiaomi India MD tells about the best habit he learnt during childhood

Read, read, read….the more you read, the more things you will know

There’s little doubt that Xiaomi, a Chinese internet company with aggressive plans in the Indian market, has got an aggressive and vibrant boss in India, Manu Kumar Jain.

Indeed, the Chinese tech companies are feeling the heat in India, over the skirmishes in the border. But Xiaomi boss is cool. He has been active on social media platforms sharing every achievement of Xiaomi, also of his personal choices.

This Sunday, his post was on the relevance of reading in childhood days. He was reading his favourite Akba-Birbal stories for his kids!

“As a kid I always used to wait for the time when my mother used to read me stories from Chandrakanta, Akbar, Birbal and more,” said Manu Kumar Jain on his official Facebook page.

According to the Xiaomi boss, his mother encouraged him to read one new book every day / week. That was the best habit Manu Kumar Jain learnt during the childhood days.

“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you’ll go,” Manu Kumar Jain’s advice.

He also quoted the famous adage, “Today a reader, tomorrow a leader.”

Jain also said that we must encourage children to read more books rather than just watching TV or playing video games.
